Hi, I’m Ryan Smith, a 23 y/o landscape and freelance photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland. The main drive behind my photography is my passion for travel and to explore new and exciting places, both close to home and further afield. Through my desire for travel, I aim to capture the beauty in the places that I visit, whilst adding that touch of creativity and uniqueness to my photographs. The majority of my work lies in and around Scotland, including the stunning and surreal landscapes of the Highlands, however I have also travelled all around the UK doing my photography, including the Lake District National Park, Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Although landscape photography is my passion, I have also engaged in many other types of photography and continue to improve my skills, which include photographing at football matches, motorsport speedway events, engaging in portraiture and fashion photography, and photographing dogs. Despite having only picked up a camera a couple of years ago, I have really engaged in the art and am excited to see where next my creative journey will take me.
