Hi, I’m Ryan, a 23-year-old hobbyist landscape and freelance photographer from Scotland. I have always loved taking photographs from a very young age, capturing moments on holiday with the family to times of hiking up some of the many magnificent Munros of Scotland. It was only in early 2020 when I decided to take the plunge and purchase my first ever camera. Although nothing spectacular, I was excited with the prospect of it and the many opportunities it brought, allowing me to express my creative side in ways I never knew was possible!
Since buying my first camera, I have really immersed myself into the creative art, travelling more than ever around Scotland, seeking out those hidden gems or attempting to recreate those classic shots through my own creative ability. I have always been someone with a creative mindset, and have always loved a challenge, which I feel has motivated me even more to push myself outside my comfort zone and capture the world around me in as unique a way as possible. A dream for me would be to travel to some of the most beautiful countries of the world, some of which include Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Italy, Switzerland and Canada.
